Carlton's children's books have, from the outset, pushed at the boundaries of design and interactivity in children's publishing. 2010 saw Carlton Kids announce the first books to incorporate Augmented Reality technology into the pages of a book.

This new interactive technology allows a webcam to recognise special visual trigger inside the book and to show 3D animations bursting off the pages, which can be controlled by the reader's keyboard.

Dinosaurs Alive and Fairyland Magic are the first two titles in the series but this Christmas prepare to be amazed as Santa comes to life in The Magic of Christmas!
